Snow always makes for an interesting subject. It often creates mesmerising foreground features when whipped by the harsh winter winds. In recent years snow has been a rarity up here in Wales, and so I jump at every opportunity to capture it. Snow changes your perception of the landscape entirely, it brings out contrast in the mountains and adds a softness to the trees it rests on.
